LONGWOOD, Fla. – Three vehicles crashed into a piece of railroad track that somehow ended up on a Seminole County roadway, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Crews responded around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday to South Ronald Reagan Boulevard, just south of Lyman Road, in Longwood.

Troopers said three vehicles were northbound on Ronald Reagan Boulevard, where a 150- to 200-foot long section of railroad track was lying across the northbound lanes. All three vehicles crashed into the railroad track, troopers said.
None of the drivers was injured in the crash, and SunRail crews later removed the rail from the road, troopers said.
The drivers told troopers that they had seen a man driving on a tractor or a forklift trying to remove the railroad track from the road after they crashed into it, according to the FHP. It’s unknown, however, if the man had anything to do with the rail jutting into traffic.
The Seminole County Fire Department told News 6 that the rail was a part of another project.
