OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 62-year-old Kissimmee woman died from her injuries in an afternoon crash on Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 12:38 p.m. on Saturday, according to the FHP.

According to troopers, the woman’s 2019 Toyota Camry was stopped at a stop sign in the eastbound lane of Pineridge Circle at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road.

The driver of the Camry attempted to make a left turn onto northbound Pleasant Hill Road when her car entered the direct path of a 2021 Dodge Challenger, driven by a 27-year-old Kissimmee man, according to the report. Troopers said that the left side of the woman’s Camry struck the front front of the Challenger in the collision.
The 62-year-old driver of the Camry was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The 27-year-old driver of the Challenger was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The inside southbound lane of Pleasant Hill Road is currently blocked.
The crash remains under investigation.
