According to a crash report, a Kissimmee man, 26, was driving a sedan north on Poinciana Boulevard at the same time another man was crossing west to east at a marked crosswalk with pedestrian crossing signals. The sedan then hit the Orlando man as it entered the intersection on a green signal, troopers said.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital, where he later died, the crash report shows. The sedan driver stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to troopers.

This comes as investigators were already looking into a fatal crash in Orange County — reported on Semoran Boulevard and Aloma Avenue — at the time this crash occurred, troopers said.
