KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday in a crash with an SUV on John Young Parkway in Kissimmee, according to police.
The crash happened near Bermuda Lakes Lane around 6:45 a.m.

According to the Kissimmee Police Department, the motorcyclist, identified as 30-year-old Xavier Garcia, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the SUV remained on scene and is not facing charges at this time.
The traffic homicide investigation prompted a closure of northbound John Young Parkway from Columbia Avenue to Donegan Avenue. The roadway reopened before noon.
