Traffic was diverted off I-4 at exit 90 and onto I-4 Express lanes until the roadway was reopened around 11:22 a.m., according to FHP.

Further investigation revealed the Ford had been involved in a previous crash, troopers said. In the inside lane of a right-hand curve in the area of mile marker 90, the left front of the Ford reportedly struck the inside concrete wall barrier before later coming to rest on the outside paved shoulder, the report states. According to troopers, the Edgewater woman was driving the Ford during the prior crash, with the Daytona Beach woman as passenger.

No other details were immediately made available.

FHP is still investigating both crashes.
