VIDEO: Trooper Steve On Patrol details Florida law about having guns in vehicles

Florida now a constitutional carry state

ORLANDO, Fla. – I am frequently asked about what you are allowed to do when it comes to carrying a firearm inside of your vehicle.

I usually avoid answering the question on TV because of the short amount of time given to provide a thorough answer. This is not a question I stray away from, however, as I am a big proponent for responsible gun ownership.

Since Florida law allows you to carry a firearm in your vehicle, you should know how to do it legally and, most importantly, safely.

During Monday’s Trooper Steve On Patrol, we talked about what the law says and if anything has changed since Florida became a constitutional carry state.
