MELBOURNE, Fla. – A crash at a major intersection in Melbourne shut down Wickham Road Thursday, but all lanes are now back open.
The crash happened at Wickham Road near Post Road.

Melbourne police confirm a motorized scooter was struck by a tractor-trailer. The scooter operator was taken to an area hospital, but the agency does not have any word on that person’s condition. They are asking motorists to avoid the area.
