Woman driving motorcycle dies in crash on Palm Parkway near SR-535 in Orange County

2023 Kawasaki strikes curb after woman loses control of bike

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 32-year-old woman was killed early Thursday when she crashed her motorcycle on Palm Parkway in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal wreck happened around 3:25 a.m. on Palm Parkway, east of State Road 535.

The FHP said the woman was driving a 2023 Kawasaki east on Palm Parkway when she lost control of the bike for an unknown reason. The bike rotated on its side and struck a curb, the FHP said.

The woman, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Palm Parkway ER, where she was pronounced dead, according to an FHP crash report.

No other details have been released.

Eastbound lanes of Palm Parkway were closed for hours after the wreck.
