SANFORD, Fla. – A crash shut down traffic in Sanford on Thursday evening, according to the police department.
In a release, police said that the westbound lanes along State Route 46 would be shut down from Mellonville Avenue to Summerlin Avenue due to the crash.

In the meantime, drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
