Motorcycle passenger killed in Titusville hit-and-run crash, police say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A passenger on a motorcycle died from her injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday morning, according to Titusville police.

Police said the crash happened on South Street, also known as State Road 405, around 4:10 a.m.

According to a news release, a Harley Davidson with two people aboard was traveling northbound on South Street when it was struck by an unidentified car.

Police said the vehicle, possibly a black car, failed to yield to the red-light traffic signal at the intersection of 3600 South Street and Park Avenue.

Ryan Lobe, the motorcycle’s driver, and a female passenger crashed, injuring both, police said.

According to the release, Lobe suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but the passenger was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.
