Here’s why there are so many no parking signs near rest stops on Florida highways

Trooper Steve answers viewer questions

ORLANDO, Fla.News 6 traffic safety expert Trooper Steve Montiero answers viewer questions about the rules of the road, helping Central Florida residents become better drivers by being better educated.

Trooper Steve on Thursday was asked, “Why would the state spend this much on signs near a rest area along I-95?”

The no-parking signs are along the shoulder in the Flagler County area and lead up to the rest area.

“This tells me that adults have an issue understanding,” he said.
