ORLANDO, Fla. – A crash involving an Orange County sheriff’s cruiser early Thursday caused slowdowns on State Road 408 in Orange County.
The wreck happened just before 5 a.m. on eastbound S.R. 408 near Alafaya Trail.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy was driving east on S.R. 408 when another vehicle struck his cruiser.
The deputy was not injured, and no other information about the other driver has been released.
All lanes of S.R. 408 east were closed in the area, but motorists were able to get by on the shoulder. All lanes of S.R. 408 were later reopened.
