OCALA, Fla. – A 60-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Ocala, according to the police department.
The Ocala Police Department responded just after 11 p.m. to SW 27th Avenue, where the man was found dead.

The driver was traveling north on SW 27th Avenue when the vehicle hit the man in the roadway.
The name of the man was not released.
The department is investigating the crash.
