MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A woman was shot in the neck Monday night while driving on Interstate 95 in Florida, according to nbcmiami.com.
The shooting happened around 7 p.m. on I-95 south near Northwest 135th Street, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.

Authorities said the woman was driving a black Lexus SUV and was shot by someone in another vehicle. The woman was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
A child in the car with the woman was not hurt, according to reports.
Investigators have not released information about a potential suspect or motive.
Police shut down the southbound lanes of I-95, but they were later reopened.
An investigation is ongoing.
