ORLANDO, Fla. – The holiday season is all about giving back and the News 6 team is doing just that through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

Chief Meteorologist Candace Campos, Morning Anchor Crystal Moyer and I joined forces to bring gifts to the Salvation Army Joy Center in Orlando, ensuring families in need will have a brighter Christmas. We’re more than just a news team; we’re members of this community and helping those in need is what the holidays are all about.

At the News 6 studio, we carefully loaded up donations for transport to the Joy Center. The gifts, collected as part of the annual Angel Tree initiative, will soon find their way to children and seniors across Central Florida in time for distribution day.

The Angel Tree program matches sponsors with individuals or families in need, enabling the community to make the holidays a little merrier for those who might otherwise go without.

News 6 is proud to support the Angel Tree Program and encourages everyone to get involved, whether by donating, volunteering, or simply spreading holiday cheer. Together, we can make this season special for all.
