Troopers said the LYNX driver attempted to swerve to avoid the Jeep, but the front of the bus struck the back of the SUV. This impact caused the front of the Jeep to collide with the back of Sierra and the front of the pickup truck to collide with the back of the Forte.

A passenger in the Jeep was taken to to Dr. Phillips Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the FHP.
