The FHP said a single unit truck failed to slow or stop for traffic ahead of it and crashed into the back of a Honda Civic driven by the Wildwood man, who later died from his injuries.

The truck also struck a Ford F-150 that was ahead of the Civic and a Toyota Rav4 that was in an adjacent lane, according to the FHP.

The driver of the truck, a 40-year-old New Jersey man, and the driver of the Ford F-150 suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals, an FHP crash report stated.

The driver of the Toyota was not injured.

No other details have been released.
