Video shows Orlando hit-and-run crash that injured bicyclist

Police seek info, describe suspect vehicle

ORLANDO, Fla. – New video shared by the Orlando Police Department shows a bicyclist being struck by a vehicle which officers are still working to track down.

The crash occurred around 10 :40 p.m. on Jan. 3 at the intersection of S. Kirkman Road and Raleigh Street, police said on social media.

The suspect vehicle — described as a black mid-size SUV with a distinctive silver roof rail — was traveling northbound on Kirkman when it struck the bicyclist, the post states. The bicyclist suffered signifigant injuries in the crash, police said.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is possibly a Honda CR-V or a similar SUV which would have visible damage on the front driver’s-side bumper, according to the post.
