Troopers explained that a truck was stopped at a stop sign near the Manatee Hammock Campground, and as the truck tried to make a left turn, it entered right into the path of an oncoming motorcycle.

As a result, the left side of the truck struck the motorcycle, the release shows.

Meanwhile, the truck driver was uninjured and remained at the scene, troopers stated.

“There is currently a roadblock for the northbound lanes on US-1,” the release reads. “This crash remains under investigation.”
