ORLANDO, Fla. – Two people were injured in a crash early Friday that had westbound lanes of State Road 408 shut down near downtown Orlando, according to Orlando firefighters.
The crash happened before 6 a.m. near Rosalind Avenue.

According to the Orlando Fire Department, two people were extricated in the crash involving two vehicles and taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries was not released.

A vehicle involved in the crash was removed from the roadway, and lanes later reopened around 7 a.m.
Sky 6 video showed heavy backups in the area shortly after lanes reopened.
Law enforcement had blocked off SR-408 at the Mills Avenue exit and directed drivers onto the off-ramp.
Sky 6 video also showed cars backed up on SR-408 before 7 a.m. as crews responded to the wreck.
No other details have been released.
