Trooper Steve on Patrol checks out CR-484 construction delays in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Marion County residents have raised concerns about the ongoing CR-484 highway rebuild, which has been in progress for nearly two years with minimal visible advancement beyond sidewalks. Frustration is mounting as traffic congestion continues to worsen, especially near the I-75 interchange.

A viewer reached out describing how the eastbound lanes are heavily impacted, with a short left-turn lane to I-75 North causing significant backups. As a result, traffic has tripled, and drivers heading straight are left with only one usable lane, leading to constant gridlock.

In response to these concerns, I’ll be heading to the area for today’s live stream inside Results-1 to check out the situation firsthand. We’ll take a close look at the construction progress, traffic flow and the impact on daily commutes.
