AUBURNDALE, Fla. – A driver was killed early Tuesday when they struck a tree after two hit-and-run crashes, according to the Auburndale Police Department.
The series of crashes happened around 3 a.m. in the area of Berkley Road and Strickland Lane.

According to police, officers found a vehicle that had crashed into a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Details about the hit-and-run crashes have not been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
