A Chevrolet Corvette seized by the Florida Highway Patrol and DEA has been transformed into a black and tan.

The Florida Highway Patrol introduced its newest vehicle on Tuesday, sharing several photos of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray on its Facebook page.

FHP said the iconic vehicle will play a vital role in supporting the Florida Highway Patrol’s mission to ensure safety on the state’s roadways and highways.

The Corvette will frequently appear at various educational outreach events, helping to promote awareness and safety among drivers.

According to the FHP, the Corvette was seized in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force. Notably, it was not purchased with state funds, emphasizing its unique background and purpose.
