Man accused of hitting, killing 6-year-old in Apopka to stay in jail

During a hearing on Friday, a judge heard arguments on a motion from prosecutors for pre-trial detention of Francisco Rosillo Arriola, 53. Two Florida Highway Patrol troopers were brought to the stand where they testified about the condition of Arriola after the crash. On Jan. 18, Emiliano Garcia was riding his bicycle along Tahoe Street near Apopka when troopers said Arriola ran a stop sign and struck him with his vehicle.
