Solar energy powers Orange County water treatment plant, saving taxpayers $400,000 annually

Orange County is getting credits for the solar installation at the Northwest Water Reclamation plant, which it implemented a year ago. The facility’s electricity bill can reach around $100,000 a month, funded by taxpayer dollars.
