ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A lightning strike set fire to an Orange County apartment building Tuesday evening, impacting 20 units and displacing five families, according to fire officials.
Orange County Fire Rescue said flames were shooting through the roof and eaves of a building at the Osprey Links at Hunters Creek Apartments.

The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
Fire officials said eight adults and five children from the five families were being assisted by the Red Cross.
It was initially reported that 20 families were affected by the fire.
