DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was shot and killed in Daytona Beach Monday afternoon, according to the police department.
The Daytona Beach Police Department said officers responded to the 800 block of Magnolia Ave. at about 1:13 p.m.

In a release, police said they received several 911 calls reporting hearing multiple gunshots nearby, which were followed by the sound of a woman screaming.
Upon arrival, police found 26-year-old Timothy Seamore, Jr. on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound, having been shot to death.
Detectives said they were able to recover evidence from the scene, though the motive for what happened is still under investigation. No information has been released about a possible suspect.
