15-year-old arrested, faces charges in shooting that hurt 3, Daytona Beach police say

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A 15-year-old was arrested and faces attempted murder charges after a shooting in Daytona Beach sent three people to the hospital, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot of 1184 N Nova Road, police Chief Jakari Young said Saturday.

All three victims have been identified, according to Young; News 6 has reached out to learn more about the victims and of their conditions.

The 15-year-old faces five counts of attempted murder, the department said in a statement Sunday.

No other details have been shared with News 6.
