The victim, who was pumping gas at the time of the robbery, told deputies the suspect was armed with a handgun when he approached, demanding his money and car keys, saying “keep pumping the gas or I will shoot you.”

According to the release, a video feed from inside the building provided a live view of what the suspect was doing.
After almost an hour of trying to convince Galloway to surrender, SWAT units pried open a locked door and arrested him around 10:50 a.m., deputies said.
Galloway was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment of cuts that were believed to be “sustained during the break-in and/or jump from the nearby apartment,” according to the release.
Once released from the hospital, he will be transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail, deputies said.
The list of charges that Galloway will face have not been finalized, according to the release.
