ORLANDO, Fla. – Dogs, cats and even a cow lit up the skies over the Orange County Convention Center on Sunday as the annual VMX Conference kicked off.
More than 26,000 veterinarians, veterinary technicians and other animal-welfare professionals were registered for the conference, which highlights innovations in treatment and professional educational opportunities.
On Sunday night, programmed drones took to the sky where they assembled into the shapes of several animals, including cats, dogs, horses, rabbits and cows, all set to music.
The drones even animated pet food being poured into a bowl.
VMX is the county’s largest gathering of veterinary professionals. The conference runs through Wednesday.
