FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A dancer was taken into custody on Monday afternoon after drugs were found in her vehicle, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said that Sheriff Rick Staly was returning from a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day event shortly after 3 p.m., which is when he noticed a car with heavy damage to its passenger-side door near Andalusia Trail and State Road 100.

Staly approached the vehicle, but the driver — Krystal Miller, 35 — was unable to provide a driver’s license, a release from the sheriff’s office states.
The release shows that Miller told Staly she was a dancer at a strip club in Daytona Beach and had been at a bachelor party with “some other girls” in Putnam County all night.

Miller added that she was returning home, but she became tired and had run off the roadway, investigators said.
“Miller told deputies the damage to her car was old and that she had gone ‘into the ditch’ but claimed it was not an accident,” the release reads.
However, she was carrying a black handbag, and deputies were able to spot a glass pipe and plastic bag with a partially crushed pill inside, deputies said.
Upon being detained, Miller told deputies that she also had a “baggie of cocaine” in her car’s center console, the release shows.
According to investigators, deputies found additional narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside of the car.
Miller faces charges of cocaine possession, heroin possession, fentanyl possession, marijuana possession, and several other drug-related charges. She is held on a bond of $18,500.
