BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Looking for a “berry” good time? Look no further.

Here’s what you can enjoy:

  • Pick your own strawberries: You can pick berries right off the strawberry fields. You can pre-pay for a $6 quart or $28 for a gallon-sized bucket. Pre-picked strawberries are available for $4 per pound. According to the event website, you should wait to wash your freshly-picked strawberries until you’re ready to eat them. And, pro tip, “the small berries are often the most flavorful.”
  • Arts & Crafts Village: There will be over 150 vendors, “representing all types of art and craft media.”
  • Children’s fun zone: Bounce houses? Yes. Face painting? You bet. There will be lots of activities for the family, including a corn pit, mini-train rides, slides, a splash zone and more.
  • Live music: Several artists will be performing on Saturday and Sunday. Click here to check them out.
  • Bob Bohme’s FARMily Feud and magic shows: Who doesn’t love a little magic? There will be three different shows, including a “Survivor” meets “Gilligan’s Island” event, that audiences can enjoy. Click here to read about each one.

Other shows to enjoy

There will be several animal shows to enjoy throughout the weekend.

Want to see Jimmy Riffle of the Gator Boys handle alligators? You definitely can here. There will also be Squak! The Amazing Bird Show, featuring pet parrots.

There will also be a car show!

“Everyone loves to stroll around beautiful vehicles, enjoy the craftsmanship and imagine themselves behind the wheel. There will be a great variety of such vehicles on view at the festival, so stroll, gaze and enjoy talking with the owners who often sit proudly by the side of their beauty,” the event’s website reads.

7-foot-tall robot?

Yes, you read that right.

BOT the Robot will be gracing festivalgoers with his presence. He sings, he interacts and apparently is very funny.

“At seven feet tall, BOT is clearly seen over crowds gliding on a custom scooter. He stops for photo ops, fist bumps, conversation, and to put on a show,” the event website reads.

What should you do with your strawberries?

If you’re wondering what the heck to do with pounds and pounds of strawberries after spending a day of picking berries, have no fear.

Event organizers with the Space Coast Strawberry Festival shared some ideas for festivalgoers of different ways to enjoy their fresh strawberries!

Especially with Valentine’s Day coming up, the possibilities are endless.

Some of the ideas include making chocolate-covered strawberries, hosting a strawberry-themed party or baking strawberry muffins.

Click here to read more about those ideas and to check out the other ways to enjoy your fresh berries.

Tickets are $6 per person, per day. Children under 2 get in for free.
