Florida’s signature grocery chain Publix has opened several new locations in Central Florida over the past few months — with a new store on the way.
According to Publix officials, the following stores were most recently opened in the region:

August 2023 | Winter Garden | Waterleigh Village - 10650 Avalon Road |

These stores are among the newest locations to feature upstairs seating, allowing guests to sit down and eat during a grocery run.
Meanwhile, another Publix location is currently undergoing renovations in Oviedo, Publix officials told News 6.
That store — located at 81 Alafaya Woods Blvd. — is expected to be larger than most of the other recently opened stores once it’s finished.
While Publix didn’t provide News 6 with a timeline for its completion, the chain said it would also have seating next to the bakery.
In addition, the chain is expecting to open a brand new location in Central Florida next month.
The newest Publix is scheduled to open in Orlando at the Shoppes at Storey Park — located at 11286 Dowden Road — on March 7.
