OCOEE, Fla. – Students and staff were evacuated at Ocoee High School Wednesday morning after a fire broke out in one of the buildings on campus.
The fire was reported in one of the restrooms, according to Orange County Public Schools. The Ocoee Fire Department responded and is working with police, the school district and the fire marshal’s office.

All students and staff are safe, the school district said in a statement. There are no reports of any injuries.
An all clear was given and students were back in class before noon, according to the district, adding the impacted area of the campus will be restricted as the cause of the fire is investigated.

The Ocoee Police Department is aware and actively working with Orange County Public Schools and the Fire Marshall’s Office in reference to an incident at Ocoee High School-OCPS. All questions pertaining to this incident will be deferred to OCPS.
