According to the sheriff’s office, witnesses said Baugh picked up Woulard in her white vehicle on the day before the shooting around 10 or 11 p.m.

Deputies said surveillance video and phone records also put the two together on Dec. 10 and in the early hours on the following day before the shooting.

Video footage at the Taylor Place Apartments captured Woulard leaving Baugh’s residence around 1:22 a.m. and walking to the southwest entrance to the complex. A minute later, he is seen on video walking north on South Woodland Boulevard after leaving the apartment complex.

According to the sheriff’s office, additional video showed Baugh’s vehicle leaving the apartment complex and heading north on South Woodland Boulevard around 1:25 a.m. A minute later, footage from the Dollar General on South Woodland Boulevard showed Baugh’s Kia drive west on West Chipola Avenue. At around 1:27 a.m., the same Dollar General surveillance video captured her vehicle heading east on W. Chipola Avenue before crossing over South Woodland Boulevard and into northwest entrance of the Taylor Place Apartments.

Apartment video showed Woulard walk back onto the complex property from South Woodland Boulevard around 1:29 a.m., deputies said. “Multiple surveillance cameras” show him walking in the direction of Baugh’s apartment.

Baugh sent a text message to Woulard at 1:30 a.m. that partially read, “you going under the ground, according to deputies.

Officials said that around 1:40 a.m., video shows Woulard smash the mirror of a white vehicle onto the ground.

Seconds later, Woulard is seen running and looking back in the direction of Baugh’s apartment. Baugh is captured on video picking up the broken mirror and walking back to her apartment.

A minute later, additional video shows Woulard leave the apartment complex.

Baugh’s vehicle is seen leaving the complex at 1:46 a.m. and driving north on South Woodland Boulevard. Deputies said within a minute, her Kia is seen turning west onto West Chipola Avenue. Her vehicle is then captured on multiple surveillance cameras between 1:47 a.m. and 1:54 a.m. as it made its way from West Chipola Avenue to South New Hampshire Avenue, to South Woodland Boulevard and back onto West Chipola Avenue.

According to the sheriff’s office, a camera that faces West Chipola Avenue captured headlights driving west on that road around 1:53 a.m. At 1:54 a.m. footage shows a figure walk in front of the headlights and within seconds, the vehicle moves around the figure.

Deputies said the vehicle, confirmed to be Baugh’s Kia, then veered south past the figure before striking a pole on the south side of the road.

As the investigation was ongoing, Baugh “deleted important information from her actual cellphone regarding this case,” deputies said.

According to officials, based on the evidence and statements collected, there was probable cause to believe Baugh “murdered Korey Ward.”

Baugh faces a second-degree murder charge related to the shooting and is being held without bond, deputies said.
