SANFORD, Fla. – Firefighters responded Friday to a burning warehouse said to be full of Christmas decorations in Sanford.

The Sanford Fire Department said on social media that it, the Seminole County Fire Department and Lake Mary Fire Department sent crews to 223 W 3rd Street to control the two-alarm fire.

Photos of the scene show flames and smoke emitting from the building, with a closer shot revealing the structure’s eaten-away roof and charred insides as firefighters continued dousing the warehouse.

The State Fire Marshal and Sanford Fire Prevention were on scene that evening to investigate, according to the post.
