Authorities search for 2 men who shot at home on Hymon Circle

BUNNELL, Fla. – A vehicle used in a drive-by shooting in Bunnell early Wednesday morning has been found, but authorities are still searching for two gunmen involved.

The Bunnell Police Department and Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded around 12:22 a.m. to Hymon Circle after a resident reported hearing multiple gunshots. Law enforcement found several shell casings in the roadway and obtained video of the incident, according to a news release.

Police said the video shows two men parking and exiting a vehicle on Hymon Circle. The video then showed them walk around the home and return to the car before both of them shot at the home as they drove away, the department said.

Bunnell police said the Daytona Beach Police Department found the vehicle parked at an apartment complex soon after the shooting with a handgun and ammunition inside.

“We will not tolerate violence, and we will use all of our resources to identify those responsible and hold them accountable,” Bunnell police Chief David Brannon said in a statement. “Thank you to our law enforcement partners – Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly and Daytona Beach police Chief Jakari Young and your respective deputies and officers for the assistance provided to us.”
