In early August, police received a tip from an acquaintance of Keene who had allegedly found several cellphones belonging to the suspect.

Police say videos saved on the phones depicted women — believed to be over the age of 18 — in “various sexual encounters” being recorded and touched by Keene without their consent.

According to police, one of the videos from June 2020 shows an unconscious female in a vehicle being sexually assaulted by Keene while unable to respond, move or speak, clearly unable to consent to the acts being done to her. The woman in that video has been identified and is assisting with the investigation, however, police are working to identify several other females seen in the videos.

Police say Keene frequently worked as a bouncer at several local bar establishments and that there may be additional charges.

Anyone with information that could help police identify additional victims is asked to contact PDTips@cityofnsb.com or call Crime Stoppers of North East Florida at 1-888-277-TIPS.
