VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 24-year-old man who was behind the wheel of one of the vehicles that killed a TikTok influencer and two others was found guilty after a trial and could spend up to life in prison, according to a news release from the 7th Judicial Circuit.
Officials said after a five-day trial and 20 minutes of deliberation, a Volusia County jury found 24-year-old Devin Perkins guilty of three counts of vehicular homicide and reckless driving with serious bodily injury.

Troopers said that early on Dec. 11, 2022, a Toyota Tacoma was driving in the wrong direction and hit the Infinity Q50 Alexandra Dulin was in, killing three in that car—including the social media star, a 20-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man.

Perkins was behind the wheel of the Infiniti, which TikTok influencer Dulin and the two other men were in, according to investigators. Troopers concluded that Perkins had been driving at 100 mph before impact, 35 miles over the posted speed limit.
Thomas Petry, who was driving the wrong-way Toyota and allegedly walked away from the scene of the fatal crash on State Road 44 by the time first responders arrived, has since pleaded no contest to charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of a crash with death, vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury.
“My heart goes out to our victims and their families,” State Attorney R.J. Larizza said after the jury came back with the verdict. “A sad case reflecting the sad reality of reckless and irresponsible driving.”
According to the release, Perkins faces up to life in prison.
