VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 36-year-old man was shot and injured during a “confrontation” with two other men at his home in the Ormond Beach area on Monday evening, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the shooting happened in the 1900 block of Linville Road around 7:42 p.m.

According to a news release, their initial investigation shows the man was shot during the confrontation with two other men who showed up at the victim’s house to dispute a personal matter.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of one gunshot wound to his abdomen and a grazing wound to his head.
He is expected to survive, deputies said.

According to the release, the suspects have not been arrested.
The shooting remains under investigation.
