ORLANDO, Fla. – Shoppers flocked to International Drive’s Premium Outlets in Orlando on Black Friday to snag some of the best deals of the year.
Known as a prime destination for both locals and tourists, the outlets were buzzing with energy as retailers offered jaw-dropping discounts and shoppers came prepared to take full advantage of the holiday deals.
There were deals galore for every shopper. Whether you were looking for designer brands or holiday essentials, the Premium Outlets had something for everyone. Some stores offered discounts of up to 70%, making it a haven for bargain hunters. From shoes to handbags and tech gadgets, retailers pulled out all the stops to attract shoppers.
Orlando resident Carmen Daboin shared her success story, saying, “We are going to Denver, Colorado, in February, so we wanted to get the winter started now, taking care of the deals. We got jackets, shoes, and everything for the price of literally one person.”
Shopping experts emphasized that preparation is key to making the most of your Black Friday experience.
“I would do your research before you get here. Go online, visit simon.com, where you’ll find our list of all the stores and deals available. And don’t forget to stop by guest services for additional information,” said Lorena Garcia, area director of marketing.
The Premium Outlets are not just a hotspot for local consumers but also a major attraction for international shoppers. The diversity of deals and brands available ensured there was something for everyone, regardless of where they’re from.
Remember, Black Friday is just the beginning of the holiday shopping marathon. Small Business Saturday follows closely behind, offering a chance to support local businesses, while Cyber Monday is perfect for scoring deals on electronics and other online exclusives.
“We’re actually owners of a small business, so that’s good for us as a business. Cyber Monday, I’d say, is more for electronics, so I’ll be doing those from home,” Daboin said.
