Florida manatee festival features viewing opportunities, entertainment and more

ORANGE CITY, Fla. – If you’re looking for a perfect time to check out the manatees, this Florida festival is it.

The Orange City Blue Spring Manatee Festival is back this Saturday and Sunday at Valentine Park, highlighting the sea cow and showcasing entertainment for the whole family.

Here are some activities to expect during the festival:

  • Shows and rides
  • Arts and crafts from over 100 vendors
  • Sand sculpting
  • Face painting
  • Bungee jumping

Some of the live entertainment includes the World Famous Disc-Connected K9s’ Frisbee Show.

There will be a free shuttle to Blue Spring State Park, where you can see manatees. Manatees prefer warmer water and Blue Spring’s temperature stays at a constant 72 degrees.
