DELAND, Fla. – Deputies are actively looking for a double homicide suspect from New York who is possibly in the DeLand area, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott Mitchell, 50, is considered armed and dangerous and believed to be on foot, deputies said.

The sheriff’s office said they found the suspect’s truck in West DeLand.
Mitchell is described as standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds with blue eyes and red hair.
Officials said they are searching for Mitchell, who is wanted for questioning, according to an article from WBNG.
