VIERA, Fla. – Someone had a pie-in-the-sky idea to have a festival based on one of the tastiest desserts with a Florida connection, and we’re all here for it.
The Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival rolls into Brevard County on Feb. 22-23 at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera.
In addition to all of the key lime flavored goodies, a craft fair will be on hand that organizers said will host over 150 exhibitors.

If you REALLY want to get in on the fun, there is a key lime pie eating and key lime pie baking contest. Information on those events can be found here.
“Pies have long been recognized as one of America’s most beloved desserts, and nothing says Florida like Key Lime Pie. To celebrate this tasty culinary treat, the Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival Committee is pleased to announce our first annual Key Lime Pie contest,” said Meg Tworkowski, Chairman of the Space Coast Key Lime Pie Contest.
According to the event’s website, there will be “great lineup of musical groups to entertain you at the festival,” a midway with rides, an alligator wrestler and more.
Admission is $7 per person with free admission for children under the age of 2. House are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days.
So, treat yourself, it will be A Good Day to Pie Hard.
