OVIEDO, Fla. – Three pets died Thursday afternoon in an Oviedo house fire, according to Seminole County Fire Rescue.
Firefighters responded to a home on Branton Drive for a smoke investigation, but found a fully involved fire.
Fire rescue said crews kept the fire from spreading to other structures, including a barn.
Two dogs and one rabbit died in the fire, according to fire rescue.
The homeowners were not home at the time.
The cause is under investigation.
