Much-deserved fall weather has arrived πŸŒ€πŸ‚

October 17, 2024

News6 Pinpoint Weather Team 2024

Hey, Pinpoint Weather Insiders, it’s Chief Meteorologist Candace Campos (and the rest of the News6 Pinpoint weather team) here, hoping you and your family and friends were able to weather the storm safely last week as Hurricane Milton sliced through the heart of Central Florida.

(National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service)

We know there are dozens of local communities that are still dealing with the impacts leftover from Hurricane Milton. If you are one of many who are still picking up debris left behind, dealing with damage from Milton’s wrath or you’re a neighborhood on river-level watch, we are here for you. And we wanted to take a moment to say β€œthank you” for trusting us throughout the storm.

River level watch 🚣

Even though additional rain is not expected over the next several days, there are concerns that runoff and a strong onshore breeze could raise rivers slightly into the weekend. Click here to see how high the St. Johns River could reach in Central Florida.
