Hey everyone, meteorologist Michelle Morgan here, and letās talk about this crazy cold weather hitting Central Florida! January has been WAY chillier than usual, and itās definitely standing out.
Normally, Orlando enjoys highs around 71Ā°F, but right now, weāre sitting at an average high of just 55.7Ā°F (so far) ā making this the 12th coldest Januaryās on record! In fact, this could be the 12th coldest January ever, with 1977 still holding the record at a frosty 50.6Ā°F. Definitely not your typical Florida winter!
