ORLANDO, Fla. – If you have a vote-by-mail ballot you need to fix or a provisional ballot you need to provide documents for, you have a couple more days to do that because of Hurricane Nicole.

Florida law allows voters to submit cure affidavits because of signature issues with vote-by-mail ballots by the Thursday after the election.

The same Saturday deadline is also now in place for voters who cast provisional ballots to present evidence supporting their eligibility to vote.

Both the affidavits and the evidence must be presented to the county supervisor of elections offices.

Elections supervisors in those 45 counties now have until noon on Monday, Nov. 14 to submit the first set of unofficial election returns.

The storm did not impact election night itself, and all counties were able to provide timely preliminary election night returns.
