Federal Emergency Management Agency and state officials are opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Volusia County to help residents and businesses impacted by Hurricanes Ian and Nicole.

FEMA announced that, at the request of the State of Florida, those impacted by Hurricane Ian now have additional time to apply for federal disaster assistance.

Brevard County residents who suffered damages related to Hurricane Ian will be able to visit a Disaster Recovery Center in Titusville to get more information about assistance.

Lake County is set to open a Disaster Recovery Center in Astor starting Friday as flooding from Hurricane Ian continues to plague the area.

Seminole County leaders have officially opened a new Disaster Recovery Center, aimed at helping people impacted by Hurricane Ian.
