According to a crash report, the bicyclist was traveling west on International Speedway Boulevard when a vehicle ran off the roadway and hit the bicycle.

The Daytona Beach man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers said a piece of the vehicle was found in the area of the crash and FHP said the possible suspect vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler between 2007 and 2018 with a color match of “anvil”. The vehicle is believed to have damage to the front right and FHP asks any body shop that may have repaired a right front fender or passenger side mirror matching the vehicle in question to contact them.
